Mr. Potyok has also acted as a consultant, offering advice and technical input to several project developers, both big and small, in BC’s energy sector.

This experience has included design and implementation of a decision support tool for 1,000 Megawatts of hydroelectric generation assets in southern California, leading the permitting, engineering and stakeholder engagement for the Culliton Hydroelectric project, which was commissioned in 2016. Mr. Martin’s volunteer roles have focused on mentorship and the creation and execution of mentorship programs. Mr. Martin’s experience is based in contract review/negotiation/change management processes, decision support frameworks/ systems, regulatory approval and stakeholder engagement.

During his time in Ottawa, he was a founding member of a class built around product development and design. Each semester Mr. MacGregor would assist on a variety of student projects, teaching various technologies and getting local professionals involved to act as clients. As a project manager, it was Mr. MacGregor responsibility to ensure students built a product within a tight 3-month window. Since graduating, Mr. MacGregor has been working in a technical sales role for an industrial power OEM, selling battery chargers and UPS systems. This role had various aspects including project management, processing requests for quotations, outbound sales development as well as training on industrial equipment. Mr. MacGregor found his interest in Electrical Engineering through his love of music, where his interest in electronics and electrical theory is tied to his passion for recording music.
